This homemade fudge recipe is super easy. It only has 3 ingredients and takes a few minutes to put together. Chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter are all you need to get started.

The condensed milk adds sweetness and creaminess while the chocolate chips add structure. Then the butter softens the texture just slightly to give you that perfect chewy fudge bite.

As simple as this fudge is to make, you still end up with a thick, rich finish that tastes amazing. You’ll want to add this easy fudge recipe to your saves. Those simple 3 ingredients can be transformed in any direction with less than 10 minutes of prep. Check out the mix and match guide for a few ideas on how to take your fudge to the next level and make tons of combinations.

These fudge squares can be wrapped and made into great gifts for coworkers, teachers, or neighbors. They also are sure to go fast at parties or holiday events.

Chocolaty, chewy, and made with just 3 ingredients. This is a great base recipe for an easy homemade fudge that can be customized and made to fit any taste-bud or occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 14 oz can of Sweetened Condensed Milk

  • 2 Cups Chocolate Chips – *See Notes and Mix and Match section

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • Mix Ins of your choice
    – I used Oreos in White Chocolate and Walnuts in Milk Chocolate

Directions

  • Prepare a 9×9 pan
    – Line a pan with parchment paper and lightly mist with a non stick spray for easier fudge removal.
  • Make the fudge
-In a microwave safe bowl combine the chocolate chips and condensed milk. Microwave for 1 minute and stir. If the chocolate is not smooth continue to microwave in 30 seconds increments, stirring after each, until smooth.
  • Add remaining ingredients
-Fold in the vanilla and any toppings you may be adding.
  • Chill the fudge
-Pour the combined fudge mixture into the lined pan and chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
I prefer to make mine the day before and let them chill overnight before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • If you don’t have a 9×9 pan any other size square will work. ( You may need to double the recipe if going larger) The goal is to avoid using a rectangle as this may spread the fudge too thin for the right thickness when cutting pieces.
  • You can use any type of chocolate chip you would like for this! I recommended a few flavor combinations below.
  • After you cut your fudge it can be stored in the refrigerator in an air tight container for 7-10 days (if it isnt already all gone by then).

Mix and Match

If you can’t decide where to start, pick a few and get creative:

• White chocolate + Sprinkles = Funfetti Fudge

• Milk chocolate + Marshmallows + Almonds = Rocky Road Fudge

Remember you need 2 cups of chocolate chips, so you have the option to mix any of these chocolates equaling up to 2 cups.
