Every pasta needs a Partner in Crime. Garlic bread is always good, but when you make it yourself it’s even better. Now, I don’t mean all the way from scratch (this time). I’m saying grab a loaf of fresh bread and make it your own. You can easily make your own cheesy garlic bread and customize it perfectly to your taste. Load up on cheese, skimp on garlic if its not your thing, add crushed red pepper. Make it your personal favorite.

Warm, cheesy and better tasting than anything that came frozen in a box.

This cheesy garlic bread takes the classic to the next level with a rich garlic herb butter that melts into every bite. Blends of mozzarella, Parmesan, and Asiago cheese get toasted until bubbly and a few fresh herbs and spices come in at the end to finish strong.

Notes

  • Add extra fresh herbs into your butter for additional flavor. I used parsley, oregano, and a little thyme.
  • Leave the red pepper flakes out to remove the heat.
  • If you begin to notice the bread baking too quickly, add a foil covering to prevent browning.
  • Try using different cheese. Use any blend of cheeses that melt well.
