minutesCheesy garlic bread is so easy to make and sure to be a family favorite. This bread is loaded with cheeses and fresh herbs and is ready in 10 minutes. It is the perfect pair for any Italian dish or soup.
Ingredients
1 Loaf French Bread
1 stick salted butter, softened
1-2 Tbs olive oil
1 tsp Garlic Powder
2 tsp Italian Seasoning
4 Fresh Garlic Cloves, minced
1/2 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flake
1 Tbs Fresh Parsley , chopped
1/3 cup Grated Parmesan
1 and 1/3 cup Shredded Mozzarella
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400° F
-Line a sheet pan in foil or parchment paper for easy clean up. Lightly spray with a non stick coating and set aside. - Prepare the bread
-Slice the bread in half lengthwise and lay the halves face up on the sheet pan. - Make the garlic butter spread
-Combine butter, olive oil, garlic powder, crushed red pepper, Italian seasoning, fresh herbs ,garlic cloves, parmesan cheese, and 1/3 cups of the mozzarella cheese until smooth.
-Spread this on the bread halves on top with remaining mozzarella cheese and additional herbs if you’d like. - Bake for 12-15 minutes
-Bake until the cheese is bubbly and melted. Broil for the last 1-2 minutes if you want the bread to be a little crispier.

Notes
- Add extra fresh herbs into your butter for additional flavor. I used parsley, oregano, and a little thyme.
- Leave the red pepper flakes out to remove the heat.
- If you begin to notice the bread baking too quickly, add a foil covering to prevent browning.
- Try using different cheese. Use any blend of cheeses that melt well.
